A hardy, mat forming succulent with striking rosettes of green-gray leaves and deep burgundy tips.

The leaves are fringed with thin, tiny hairs, and rosettes can frow to 10cm in diameter, 15cm tall and 50cm in width.

The plant spreads by shooting offsets attached to the mother rosette by stolons, and produce clusters of red/purple flowers in summer.

Tolerates hot, dry conditions.
