Aeonium Meiji

Aeonium Meiji is believed to be a reverted form of Aeonium Mardi Gras, with its beautiful round rosette of intense colours in summer featuring reds and blacks, while in winter, the colours become darkest crimson red and black.

When the plant is actively growing in winter, the plant displays a variegated mix of white, yellow, green and red.

In Autumn, when coming out of dormancy, the plant will display vibrant colours of yellow and green as the rosette begins to open, showing a beautiful contrast against the darker outer leaves.
